Policy regarding survey promotion requests
The Beef Cattle Research Council (BCRC) is frequently asked to help various organizations and research institutions promote their surveys to beef producers.
Survey results can help to support research and extension efforts that are aligned with the Canadian Beef Research and Technology Transfer Strategy.
The BCRC will consider survey promotion requests if all of the following conditions are met:
- The BCRC is involved in the survey/research as a collaborator, co-investigator or funder,
- The request is submitted to the BCRC at least two weeks before the survey is to be released, and
- The organization provides survey questions to the BCRC for review and will incorporate the BCRC’s feedback unless compelling rationale can be provided to not do so.
