Speakers
Steve Hendrick DVM – Veterinarian, Coaldale Veterinary Clinic
Steve was raised on a cow-calf and feedlot operation in south western Ontario. He received both his DVM and Doctor of Veterinary Science degree in epidemiology from the Ontario Veterinary College. Steve worked as an Associate Professor at the WCVM in Saskatoon, SK for 9 years where he provided veterinary services to cow-calf, dairy and feedlot operations. Beyond his clinical duties, Dr. Hendrick also lectured to the veterinary students and conducted research studies on a broad range of issues: Johne’s disease, trace minerals, distillers’ grains, Mycoplasma pneumonia and venereal diseases of cattle.
Steve currently works at the Coaldale Veterinary Clinic near Lethbridge, AB providing veterinary and consulting services to feedlot, cow-calf and dairy clients. Outside of work, Steve enjoys spending time with his family in the mountains, hiking, skiing and biking.
Ellen Crane, MSc
Ellen joined the BCRC team in October 2018 as Extension Coordinator. She graduated with a master’s of science in animal science at Dalhousie University. She is a graduate of the Cattlemen’s Young Leaders Program, and a 2018 Nuffield Scholar. Her family raises cattle on Prince Edward Island.

All you need to do is register beforehand, and about 5-10 minutes before the webinar is scheduled to begin, click the link you were provided when you registered. Then turn up your computer speakers or call the phone number provided. That’s it! Sit back and enjoy.
As a participant, you can anonymously answer polls and surveys, and will have the opportunity to ask questions near the end of the webinar.
