Melissa Reinhardt, Manager of Business Development, Farm Credit Canada
Melissa grew up on a cow-calf/backgrounding operation north of Strathmore, Alberta. After completing her undergrad at the U of A, she began working with Farm Credit Canada (FCC). In her 15 years with FCC, Melissa has worked as a Relationship Manager, Credit Manager, and most recently Manager, Business Development. She is still active in the cattle industry, helping to operate a cow-calf operation east of Red Deer with her partner Danny. In her spare time she enjoys team roping, gardening, and skiing.
Brett McRae, Manitoba Beef Producer, Past YCC President
Brett McCrae is a young producer that farms 12 miles Southwest of Brandon, MB. He runs a mixed operation including purebred Angus cattle, cereal grains, canola, forage seed, and diverse annual forage crops. He is an innovator in soil health, cover crops, and low maintenance livestock. Brett was a 2014/15 Cattlemen’s Young Leaders Graduate, and currently serves as the Manitoba Delegate and past President on the Young Cattlemen’s Council.
What is a webinar?
Webinars are just like attending a workshop or conference, but from the comfort of your own home or office. We bring the presentation right to you. They’re easy to join and participate in. A reliable, high-speed internet connection is required.
All you need to do is register beforehand, and about 5-10 minutes before the webinar is scheduled to begin, click the link you were provided when you registered. Then turn up your computer speakers or call the phone number provided. That’s it! Sit back and enjoy.
As a participant, you can anonymously answer polls and surveys, and will have the opportunity to ask questions near the end of the webinar.
